News & Stuff

With the 1sts and 3rds being rained off on Saturday, along with the inter-club game, the 2nds, 4ths and 4As all managed to beat the weather and the opposition, with three good wins.
A special mention for Cam who destroyed Gravesend 3rds with 7-27, to set up victory for the 4ths. He has now edged out Kate's 6-16 as the best bowling of the season.
In fact, he didn't stop there, with a cheeky little Michelle - 5-26 on Sunday, to storm up to 2nd place in the wicket-takers table, 1 behind Smiffy.

I am building a new website for the Club to use, which will provide
additional facilities, but most importantly will
give us the ability to have bespoke Mens and Ladies Colts pages.
It's still under construction but have a look.

TESCO'S VOUCHERS
Well done everybody who collected the vouchers over the last few weeks. We managed to collect 3003, which with the 593 we had from last time, enabled us to order a set of spring stumps and five batting tees for the Colts.
A massive thank you to Lorraine Regan for handling all this.
Lorraine also tells me that we can collect old inkjet cartridges and mobile phones all the time, so please bring them in when you have them.

BERESFORD-WEBB TROPHY

The second match between the Cricket Club and the Rugby Club

STARTLING FACT!
I have just noticed that when/if I reach 30 wickets this season, I will have taken 800 for Sidcup, 538 of which were in my former life as a young, slim, rakish, debonair, yet slightly scruffy, fast bowler! (1975-83)
